Strada Routing is a logistics tech company at the cutting-edge of applied Reinforcement Learning and Artificial Intelligence. We build intelligent systems to route truck shipments optimally and instantly—saving time, money, and the environment. Join us this summer for a massive scale-up as we develop our routing platform and begin pursuing contracts. We are looking for passionate interns, with the opportunity for longer-term partnership/employment for the most dedicated. We will start the summer working remotely, likely convening in Boston in the later months.

If you are excited about
Strada Routing
and
want to help in any way, please apply!
From tech-expertise to business or
logistics savvy, there are so many ways you can contribute to
our work. This is also a great option if you are interested in
one of the other positions, but feel that your qualifications
don't perfectly align.
At the core, we are looking for passionate and
creative people. If this describes you, we'd love to talk.
The US trucking industry is
comprised of shippers, drivers, and carriers. Shippers need loads
moved from one place to another. Drivers own the trucks to do so.
Carriers connect drivers with shippers by building load
bundles, days-long truck routes that allow the drivers to
efficiently complete as many deliveries as possible. This is no
easy task. In addition to distance and cost minimization, carriers
must account for environmental impact, drive-hour regulations,
time windows, truck and load compatibility, and the flow disparities
in and out of regions. The US trucking industry generates
over $700 billion per year, but there is still no robust
technology to optimize this process.
Strada Routing builds AI systems to change that. Although traditional
algorithms cannot solve the routing problem in polynomial time,
we have developed proprietary models that can approximate
solutions in linear time. Our models allow us to address the
wide array of variables that must be considered to price and
design load bundles in the real world. You will work on the
first-ever intelligent logistics agent in the trucking industry,
designing state-of-the-art databases and models and building them
into an application that seamlessly optimizes routes.
Join us to have a big impact on an energized team
developing tech to revolutionize a massive and inefficient industry.
